Weekly Grocery Shopping Links

 IGA        -      Metro       -     Super C       -     Maxi

I have found that IGA has a more lucrative weekly sale.  The prices are "usually" better when compared to Metro. The food quality is higher compared to Maxi and Super C, but a bit less compared to Metro.  IGA coupon policy is also much better than Metro and Super C which are basically the same chain and is easily available on their website.  Other services offered by IGA include grocery delivery, online shopping list, a rewards program, gas savings, and a very user-friendly website.

Metro gets top marks for its quality and fresh products.  Metro coupon policy leaves much to be desired.  I've only found their policy listed in the publications of "Grocery Alert Canada" and "Extreme Couponing Mom's". (visit the coupon policy blog page for a list of online policies).  Other great notables from Metro - The metro card gives cash back.  You receive your savings on your metro card in coupons via their website, and cash coupons via postal mail. The card keeps track of your purchases and offer you discounts on those items.  Metro website has an online shopping list for its products.

Super C is a division of Metro.  I would say the lesser quality label.  As with Metro, Super C coupon policy isn't easily accessible.  Why go to Super C? Well, you get more for your money when shopping on a budget.  I enjoy Super C because I can get sandwich meats in bulk.  They have easy to find sales on display immediately walking in the door.  What they lack in high quality meat products, they make up for in other areas such as boxed items, pasta, and much much more.  Don't let this store pass you by.
Maxi, like Super C has lesser quality products but their sales are always stellar for those looking to shop on a budget.  You can always find a GREAT DEAL here.  As far as I can tell, Maxi doesn't accept coupons.
